im not an expert. in fact, it was Niva's mail last night to me "which game are you going to get next?" that sparked my curiosity.

pls add any other nice looking games (FPS) to this list and lets compare them.

my take: looks like Resistance (on the PSP), or unchartered. both not my cup of tea. at all. this would be about the last game i would purchase (sorry Niva!) i think they are really trying to push the fact that it can be played with the new ps3 controller, the "move" (motion detector). but the game looks like it belongs in the arcades.

my take: looks promising. reminds me the most of BadCo. i dont care if they steal ideas and copy this and that. if its a fun game, with good weapon selection and a good centralized server, that would be enough to reel me in. the sound effects sound super (like BadCo). seems they have some kill streaks ala COD. the graphics are good, but no super, but i could live with it if other things about the game were well done. i was quite impressed overall. it will be a tough decision. though game controls looked a bit sluggish, and it took quite a lot of bullets to take enemies out.

my take: while the trailer is just SP, no matter how good it looks, it still looks cartoony to me. just as KZ2 was. i thought KZ2 was very mediocre. graphics were interesting, since they were unusual. i didnt mind the dark themes. but it didnt feel realistic, the way BadCo, COD, or other military games are. and i like realistic looking things. also, KZ2 had only about 10 usable guns in MP. that is ridiculous. that is not fun. and even then, u couldnt run around realistically with a shotgun on most maps. nor with the 10 foot spray of the Smgs. and who used the custom class (forgot name) with no abilities, just in order to use the machine guns? i gave KZ2 a try, but i was not incredibly impressed. if the gameplay looks anything similar, i will definitely pass on this game. so sluggish. also, i think most of us agree, we could care less how beautiful the SP looks, with cinematic openings and this and that. its all about the MP.

my take: yes i know its already out. and i havent heard anyone talk about it. but i think the genre is fucking dope. from the little ive read, its made by Rockstar (made GTA games) and its a bit like GTA set in western format. which seems fun as hell if u like SP. but even the MP, though its 3rd person, how couldnt it be fun to go around with old-style shotties, pistols, and rifles? if this game is on sale, i might decide to give it a try (assuming i hear some positive feedback from the online perspective). duxy, i think u have this, thoughts? edit: after watching the full vid, this game looks fucking incredible! lots of diff MP modes.
u can do challenges together (ala Res2 co-op) like hunting bears, fighting gangs, etc. oh, and i saw the circle Wep selection on MP, like Resistance 1! dude, im getting this game.

I don't know how well they're going to be able to do the MP, but the new Assassin's Creed looks saucy. Anyone else interested? Guess it's dropping in early November.

i just about sold myself on COD blops, but i forgot about Medal of Honor. i still like this game.
i cant even describe in words how much i fuggin love the sound and atmosphere of this game, as with the BadCo series.
to be completely honest, that gets my panties very wet. this game is out now.

and to be quite blunt, i actually think i prefer the chemistry and flow of MOH better than COD. its not such a jerk n shoot game, its a little slower pace. its not just run and run and shoot from the hip. i dunno.. im getting mixed feelings now.
