Post up any testing you'd like to do in this game, we'll do it & then post up the results.

  • Knife vs. Commando Knife range
  • Quick Sniping
  • Semtex accuracy

Scavenger Perk: Refills everything, 40mm's included.

Commando Knife extends almost twice as far as the original length. The character does a crazy lunge & that's all she wrote.

LOL yeah, that Commando knife is pretty fluffy buff!! I used it last night in one loadout in ffa and it worked pretty well - the range is amazing.

What's the range on the 40mm?? Sometimes it just rolled and bounced and blew up like a frag grenade, sometimes a 1 hit kill... Does that make sense??

Red that throwing knife battle was too funny eh?? That's a one hit kill anywhere on the body, but it's hard to time. For longer throws, you need to account for the arc of your throw - it's wierd - if it hits it's deadly, and if you miss it feels like you threw a 10 gram tin fork lol sounds like that too!

The 40mm doesn't blow up until a certain distance has been covered. Before that, it's a 1-hit "impact" kill.

And yeah, throwing knife only match was fun! biggrin

knocking out enemy sentry guns can be easily done by running behind it and meleeing it.

shooting aircrafts with double damage pro will take half the time to destroy it.

im trying to figure out how u shoot with the riot shield out?? using pistols or machine pistols.. i swear i see people using them however i still can't find a way. never-the-less, the riot shield shouldn't be rated cause u just need to flank or run up and melee.

Funny you should mention this. banion7 & his buddy told me the same night you posted it up.

Umm...if I'm understanding this correctly, all you need to do is press the weapon swap button & you're ready to go.

confirmed: red dot + holo = same range.

the actual attachment is a litter taller for the holo, but a little narrower (tiny difference).
the range is the same. the holo red dot is bigger. either will do the exact same thing.

did some testing with a silenced shotty. the range was extremelly short; ~10 feet. anything past that and it didnt even hit.

also, if hitting the body, u need 2 shots with it to kill. not a good thing. stick to one shot kills w/out silencer.

i would like to test out certain guns for the effectiveness of stopping power vs. without.
looks like some guy did some testing for it, and most results showed the headshots generally remained at 2~3, and body shots went down (usually from 3~4 to 2~3) for most assault rifles.

especially, sniper rifles. fal. m16.

would like to test sniper damage vs silenced damage.
i believe 1 headshot for either is 1-hit kill.
is 2 shots to body for both?

also, when throwing nades/semtex, does a flash/stun thrown immediately after only trigger the explosion? or does it actually increase damage to a tiny degree?

i remember having guys in last stand, throwing a stun grenade and killing them in COD4. but yesterday, i threw 2 at a guy in last stand, didnt kill him.
