ftw = for the win (ur welcome, door. lol)

(ok. maybe niva will be mad that i DL (download...) pirated copies of movies to my PSP, watch them once, then delete from my memory stick. but lets try not to focus on that.)

i changed jobs this May, and while i could write a whole blog on that subject alone, let me just say that i DO get to travel a bit now.
i get to go to tokyo 1-2 times a month, which means:
A: i can visit redhamster
2: i can ride the bullet train 2.5 hrs each way.

now, number B may not seem like a good thing, but actually it is quite nice! i get a decent size reserved seat with enough room for my legs, and i can easily watch a good, long movie each way of the trip.

recent movies i have watched:
The Wrestler: A -
Yes Man: C+/B-
P.S. I love you: B
Valkyrie: B-
Walk Hard: C+/B-

when i popped in the Wrestler, i didnt realize it involved lots of scenes of Marissa Tomei stripping (wow shes still hot for her age). so everytime it showed her at the club, the dirty 60year old dude sitting next to me would keep watching my PSP. he was basically drooling for more.. it was funny as hell.

i would love a heads up on good movies to watch, especially funny ones. (i cant exactly watch spectacular visual effects on the small screen, so thats why i opt for more funny/drama oriented movies). thanks!

Finally saw The Hangover & The Watchmen on my rides to and from Japan. They were alright. You seen them yet?

wrestler was a good movie. mickey rourke owned. er well got owned. er he acted well.

yesterday watched:
the international C
eagle eye C-

not very pleased with either. international had a very bland story, though clive owen is a cool dood. the one bright thing (that i wasnt expecting) was a very badass fight scene that made me wanna play a FPS.

eagle eye was also mediocre. if that. i mean come on... a central computer that controls everthing... if i knew it was gonna be that cheezy, i would have just watched "Maximum Overdrive" w/Emelio Estevez.
