Busy SQUIRREL!

Also, any recommended fonts, Guz?

All visual & audio A-OK. It's time to get this shit started (still need Sony Vegas, though)!

red: sry i cant recommend a specific one, but u may want to look into other video editors besides Sony Vegas. i know, i got it too because i was copying the YT commentators who said they used it. but really, it eats up enormous CPU (slow) and there are a million things that u will likely never use. if ur really into all that, then its a professional thing offering tons of modifications. but if u just want to comment, with a few flashy intros/outros and a few cool tricks in between, it may be smarter to get a smaller program. meh?

and cant recommend any fonts, though i think i use the same one i used for ur sig and my vid intros.

Kuzu: NP. Thanks for telling me that you'd recommend something else. TBH, I hadn't even thought about looking other programs up & had just assumed the Vegas was the way to go. As of now, I'm probably going to go with 'Cyberlink Power Director'. The above vid was done in the Microsoft Live Movie Maker & just doesn't seem to cut it. From what I've seen online, though, the Vista version is much better and still compatible with Windows 7. I might look into it a bit further, but am most likely to just go ahead and purchase what I know WILL work.

No... You are supposed to choose...

Wait a tick... This isn't HD! Does Windows Movie Maker not allow it?

For the editing program, I don't know of many. As Kuzu said, it has many features that you may never use, though some are, & may come in handy from time to time. Color Curves on the most recent vid would've probably helped, for example, & editing programs w/ less features may not offer tools like that. There is also lots of documentation on it, & Kuzu & I have experience using it, so we could help out if the need arises.

Hopefully the link works. I'm doing this from my iPhone.

Dell
XPS 14
Intel Core i5-460M Processor (2.53GHz)
4GB DDR3-SDRAM
NVIDIA GeForce GT 420M 1GB GDDR3
500GB SATA HDD

Maybe that's all you're looking for? I hope so. All the rest is in Japanese & I don't know what the balls it's saying.

k. im getting a new PC, wife already approved. but im guessing from that the OS is japanese.
those specs seem pretty good. not the top, but good indeed. ive heard good things about DELL so hope that works out for u.
if u dont mind, can u tell me where u got it? price? how long it took to custom make?

Mine's a laptop, so maybe relatively buff? I don't know too much about these things, but I'm sure a desktop would just chuckle at my specs. LOL. It cost about ¥100,000. Had to fuck in an i5 Processor, so it took about 3 weeks to be delivered. Got it from Dell inside Yodobashi (the number one electronics shop out here in Tokyo).

Same shit a couple of peeps have put up for COD vids: Color Corrector (Studio RGB to Computer RGB), Color Curves (variable per map) & Sharpen (Reset to None).

Someone's been doing his homework! As a personal preference, I'd do Color Corrector manually, instead of using Compy RGB. Drag in reset to none, then click "Choose adjustment color" under Highs & Lows. Click the whitest, brightest part of the screen, the darkest, blackest part, respectively. I personally think it does a better job. Mids can be left alone. If you wanna get really nerdy about it, you could even make a different preset for each map, in BO. Using the same settings for Array & Hanoi might not look quite right for example, as one is bright & the other is dark.
