| Kuzu, a suggestion for your vids, if you're running them through Vegas before uploading? Disable resampling on em before you export them. Right-Click the clip>Properties>Disable resampling.

| unless i do commentary (probably only a very few...) i only put up straight game footage. no running through any software.
what does resampling do? is my vid whack? trying to upload 2 more vids. but they seem to have errors or failed processing (again).

Ah, K. Don't bother w/ it if you don't usually go through it. Resampling attempts to correct a vid if there is some sort of "problem" detected w/ the vid. For example, if you had a vid @ 24FPS, then took it to 30, resampling would attempt to correct this by filling in frames causing a slight "ghostiness" about it. The default setting is smart resampling, but, isn't all that smart. It's generally suggested to disable it all the time. Anyway, again, don't bother w/ it unless you need to use Vegas for another reason. Watch a section of clip w/ alot of movement, disable resampling, then watch it again. Should help out a bit.

Dogs, Gunship, Beastie Boys. was so hyped about this. wrote out a commentary review. then decided to make a remix of "Paul Revere".
on paper, i liked how it sounded. but after hours of trying to record while at the same time not waking up family, i didnt like the results. on top of that, the commentary went over my time limit but i was so sick of the process i decided to speed it up a little (which is why the commentary sounds grainy/rushed). THEN the picture for some reason was really dark, though my original copy was normal... BUT im very annoyed with having to wait 3.5 fucking hours to render a video, at which time my PCU is working at 100% so i cant touch anything else. this is another reason why i might just give up commentaries; takes so much time, and the final product wasnt even what i intended. so, what i want to say is that, i think the vid is crap in just about every way.
voice too fast.
picture too dark.

| You're not giving yourself enough credit dude. The picture is too dark, but not really all that bad. I could tell what was going on. The voice-over sounds weird too, but not really "fast" as you say. IDK. Just unnatural. I agree though, the lyrics (the ones I could make out anyway =p) were really great. Everything was very fluid & smooth, & ze rhymes were killer. Your singing also brought a grin to my face as your difficulty w/ speech is def something I can relate to. ^_- Somewhat marred by the other aspects' shortcomings, but not as bad as you make it out to be. Dead honest, I give it a solid "B." & for a couple Vegas tips, if you didn't know already: On the timeline, click-drag to select a desired section of video, then goto render settings & select "render loop region only" to get an idea of what the output will be like. It will save you from wasting lots of time rendering a vid that some sort of prob w/ it or is undesirable. & this isn't directily related, but: select a section as above & hit Shift+B for a RAM render. This is useful if you've got a transition or video FX'ed clip & playback is choppy.

| I enjoyed the vid, if not only for the novelty of it. You seem to be a very harsh self-critic. That's not necessarily a bad thing. Just don't let it keep you from trying new things. New things are good things! (^_-)b Regarding your second vid with the slow-mo or whatever, I was under the impression that the actual input menu wasn't needed to be active in order to mod your vids. What I mean is that you might be able to slow and/or speed things up without that input menu on the screen. It's worth checking out.
