While I completely agree w/ the 50% deal & all that, just the removal of the lunge would be a godsend. Also the "Auto-Lock" Knifes. You know, the ones where the guy's facing the other way, knifes, does a 180 & gets ya. I'm not gonna get into the whole ghost argument, but I don't like it. Mainly, I'll say that while some other other 1st perks are OK, they pretty much pale in comparison to ghost. Flak is good, but it's very situational IMO. You really don't give up much. The inherit flaws w/ the game also empower ghost. The bad spawns, inability to hear footsteps, (Update sounds somewhat better, & I don't have ninja pro.) etc. Speaking of bad spawns, BB really demonstrates how bad they actually are, when you see those triangles appear close behind you. Totally beastly. It's the gun the M16 was in COD4 IMO. I know red isn't a fan of scoped weaps, but I highly recommend using the low power scope w/ it. close quarters isn't all that hampered by it. The thing just kills FAST. I've had occasions where I was facing 3 guys, but still managed to pull through. I can't say I've done that w/ any other gun. Long range is the only thing the low power scope impedes; the sway can't be stopped. In close/med range the gun feels as if it gets a power boost as opposed to the vanilla G11. Yeah. they're also OK on DOM, but Demo is prob where it shines. Thanks for the GP analysis red. I played a good amount of the match like a dummy, it worked out in the end! Lastly, the patch has made a mess of the game. frequent disconnects, long game search times, parties split up more often than not.. Ugh. Sorry we couldn't get you in any games last night Dux.

I know we all have more chances of winning games with more of our own dudes. @red, well man, I did try the Ak74u with steady aim as well, but the MP5k seems to land more on the target. All you gotta do is have the enemy between the crosshairs and you are set. About three short bursts and they are down. It also helps a lot to sway around, left and right. With lightweight, you can throw the other guy's aim off, that is if they are not that good of a player.

| I think I may go on a small hiatus... (already LOL) Many issues have arisen since 1.04, I'm finding it near unplayable 1/2 the time. Be it parties/hit detection/lag or whatever.
Even though I can enjoy the game, in the end it's not my kinda game to begin with. Coupled w/ the many issues that plague the game, it leaves you pretty sour in the end. I've said this elsewhere, but I'm done w/ COD after this, unless they wanna man up & make some much needed change. It's ridiculous really. Even if Niva gets a bit carried away w/ the COD bashing, I do agree that it's lame that COD "is" the premier shooter that everyone consumes without question. While this post is sounds very negative, I do still enjoy the game (@ times, LOL); what really gets to me is bloodsucking Activision, & their unwillingness to do anything about it. Anyway, again, I apologize for the bitching. ^_-

| Guzman, nooooooooooo!!! LOL. Got this from OGOB forums. I don't know if it works or not, as my game is fine. I got connection interrruption last night 4 out of 6 games and it froze twice had to reboot , but I did this tonight and played 6+ games with two in a party and had no issues at all . http://4infinity.forumotion.com/game-di....270.htm My bad I realized you all might not be able to view this page so here it is , :-[ In the XMB delete your game save data and game data utility for Black Ops, all of your online stats will still be there, you will lose single player stats though, I decided to check this and found that the patch actually loaded into game save data and not where it should have in GAME DATA UTILITY…After deleting and redownloading everything works like it should!!!! Steps to do this: 1. in the XMB under games where you would click on the disk to load black ops scroll up to where it says saved data utility.
2. delete this data, what will happen is you will lose all of your campaign progress and on your custom classes you will lose whatever you have named them but all of your classes will be the same and no online progress will be lost. just rename them
3. scroll up a little more to game data utility and click it and delete the black ops data, you will NOT lose any online progress.
4. now go reload the game up and it will require you to redownload the patch and you should be up and running. happy gaming We were not able to personally test this at RipTen – but we emailed the solution to readers who said it fixed most of the issues immediately. *The solution is not perfect but will fix the patch for the user who corrected it. If the host of the match has not corrected this problem you can still have issues. The more people who correct this, the less issues people will have.

| lol, you know I had to do it. As I said before it's too easy and fun on finding faults and hating on COD. I can barely wait for Killzone 3 especially since Killzone is my favorite FPS franchise (been playing it since the first came out). If you guys are having problems playing FLOPS as a party, I suggest going back to COD 4 (if you have it), the party system there actually works for the most part. Or, may I even suggest BC2, I may not like the BC series, but DICE is amazing on online multiplayer games.

| Meh. I don't like the scale of Battlefield games & how dominant vehicles can be. Not to say they weren't fun (I thought it was hilarious in 1943 when the Americans would say "I got one!" or the J's would say "Banzai!" whenever they got a kill), just that they weren't my cup of tea. Mainly cuz I don't like pieces of shit in my tea.

| That's cool Marsh, but after I got the plat I was done with MoH, lol. I have a terrible kdr in it because I don't care about kdr anymore and I was always playing for the team even when we would get slaughtered.
